John is a senior financial executive who brings more than 15 years of experience with corporate finance, strategic planning, financial and operational restructuring and bankruptcy litigation to Aurora’s clients. He has not only been a lead advisor in operational reorganizations, financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds, loan workouts, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings but has served in a variety of roles with businesses and their counsel. These hands-on roles include everything from financial advisor and Chief Financial Officer to serving as an on-site turnaround manager. John’s experience spans a diverse spectrum of industries that includes manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications, financial services, real estate and healthcare.

Prior to joining Aurora, John was a Senior Manager with a multi-office turnaround firm headquartered in Cleveland where his primary responsibility was on-site turnaround management for mid-size companies. Prior to that John was a Senior Manager in the Business Recovery Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers and also held various executive positions with direct operating responsibilities.

John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Dominican University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. John will complete his CIRA certification this year.
