Atlanta, GA: Aurora Management Partners, headquartered in Atlanta, continues its national expansion by adding Povl Jorgensen as a Senior Consultant and a Director in Pittsburgh. Aurora has had a major presence in the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic regions for several years, handling engagements for numerous automotive and manufacturing companies. Mr. Jorgensen, in conjunction with Aurora’s Cleveland office, will be responsible for servicing existing clients and capitalizing on the growing demand for restructuring services with companies located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Ontario.

Prior to joining Aurora, Mr. Jorgensen was a Case Director for Glass and Associates in both New York and Canton, Ohio, with responsibilities for a variety of operational turnarounds and restructurings. Povl has extensive experience serving in CEO and COO positions for a variety of companies in a wide range of industries, as well as serving as a Senior Advisor/Board Member for a number of troubled companies. His industry experience, prior to entering the turnaround management field, also includes serving as president of a fully-integrated aluminum manufacturer, vice-president operations of a fully-integrated steel producer, and a number of senior operational and financial positions with Ford Motor Company, as well as several successful entrepreneurial ventures on his own.

Mr. Jorgensen, born in Copenhagen Denmark, graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.S. in Economics and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional and a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He lives in McMurray, PA with his wife Barbara.
