Aurora Management Partners was appointed as Chief Restructuring Officer to Luca Mariano Distillery, LLC and LMD Holdings, LLC in the Eastern District of Michigan Southern Division (Detroit) United States Bankruptcy Court (case no: 25-51472). Managing the property and assets are Managing Partner David Baker and Directors Matthew Dossey and Travis Grody.
Luca Mariano Distillery operates on a 529-acre estate of historical significance in Danville, Kentucky. The property features a 17,500-barrel American whiskey distillery and an 11,000-barrel rickhouse. The distillery has the capacity to produce approximately 72,000 bushels of corn and wheat annually, yielding 6,500 barrels of estate whiskey. Aurora is currently serving as State Receiver to nearby All Nations Distillery in Lancaster, Kentucky.
In addition to current out-of-court restructurings, Aurora is currently appointed as State Receiver to Covenance Manufacturing, also in Kentucky, and Federal Receiver to Besse Forest Products in Michigan and Notre Dame College in Ohio. In Chapter 11 bankruptcies, Aurora is currently serving as Chief Restructuring Officer to Wellmade Flooring and Gardener’s Supply Company, as well as Financial Advisor to Handlos Family Farms and to the Unsecured Creditors Committee in the Eventide Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Additionally, in court appointment, Aurora is serving as Liquidating Trustee to Taronis Fuels and Plan Administrator to Tessemae’s following their respective Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan confirmations.
