Aurora Appointed Receiver to Heatworks Technologies
Charlotte, NC– On July 20th, 2022 the Master-in-Equity chancellery court in Charleston County, South Carolina appointed Aurora Management Partners as Receiver for Heatworks Technologies (case 22-CP-10-01904). The Parties stipulated and agreed to the appointment of Aurora Management Partners as Receiver for the Heatworks client. The Aurora team overseeing the Heatworks case includes David Baker, Managing Partner, a member of the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers (NAFER), William McCarthy, Senior Managing Director, Philip Slaght, Director, and Che Carrasquillo, Associate Director.
Heatworks Technologies, based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, has developed patented technology to efficiently heat liquids to precise temperatures. Heatworks has applied the aforementioned technology in the home appliance market.
Aurora is currently serving as Federal Equity Receiver for AgTech Scientific Group, LLC (case: 5:21-cv-00190) and Timber Creek Holdings, et al. (case 1:2019cv02377) as well as State Receiver for SGSL Fee Owner, LLC (case 22-005848-CA-01). Aurora has previously been appointed as Federal Equity Receiver for a number of additional cases.
