Aurora Honors Life of John Sieger at 2023 Siegerfest

Chicago, Il (August 1, 2023): Aurora Management Partners is honored to have been a Platinum Sponsor at this year’s annual Siegerfest, a memorial benefit celebrating the life of John Sieger. John Sieger, Partner and National Head of the Insolvency and Restructuring Practice at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, was a beloved friend and colleague of Aurora’s, working together on a multitude of client engagements over the past 20 years before his passing in 2021.

Inspired by John’s love of golf and annual Lollapalooza trips, the day kicked off with a golf outing and was followed by a lively Lollapalooza-style reception and auction at Ruth Lake Country Club in Hinsdale, IL. Aurora’s David Baker (Managing Partner), Tim Turek (Senior Managing Director), Cally McGee (Consultant), Sophia Levinson (Consultant), and Clark Turek (Consulting Intern) attended the day’s festivities. The generosity of the guests, sponsors, auction donors, and volunteers led to $200,000 raised with net proceeds being donated to Evans Scholars Foundation (https://www.wgaesf.org/) and organizations supporting adults with disabilities, two philanthropic areas close to John and his family.
