On June 16th, 2025, Aurora was appointed as Financial Advisor to Handlos Family Farms, LLC in the Southern District of Iowa United States Bankruptcy Court (case # 25-00671-lmj11).
Handlos is a diversified family-owned and run network of pork producers, convenience truck stops, and livestock and grain farming based in Audubon Country, Iowa. The Aurora team advising the Company includes Tim Turek, Senior Managing Director, and Cally McGee, Consultant.
In addition to current out-of-court restructurings, Aurora is currently appointed as Receiver to Covenance Manufacturing and All Nations Distilling, both in Kentucky, as well as Besse Forest Products in Michigan. Aurora is also serving as Financial Advisor to the Unsecured Creditors Committee in the Eventide Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Additionally, in court appointment, Aurora is serving as Liquidating Trustee to Taronis Fuels following it’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan confirmation.
